بدأ جلال بن ثنية تنفيذ مهمة بتاريخ ٢٦ ديسمبر ٢٠٠٩، وهي السير في عبر الربع الخالي. وقد بدأ رحلته من أمام مركز “سنسز” Senses القريب من داره في حي جميرا في دبي. وقد تضمن المسار الذي سلكه من دبي إلى أبو ظبي ثم حميم ثم ليوا وأخيراً السير عبر صحراء الربع الخالي لينتهي إلى أم الحصن.

وقد واجه جلال صعوبات عدة مثل قلة الموارد والدعم والوسائل الحياتية الضرورية، فطبيعة المناطق التي مر بها كانت مقفرة وقاحلة وبلا أدنى نوع من الخدمات أو الصرف الصحي أو الوسائل الطبية.

وكان من المقرر أن ينهي جلال بن ثنية هذه المهمة خلال ٢٠ يوماً، لكنه نجح في تنفيذها في ١٤ يوماً فقط وسيراً على الأقدام فقط. لقد ساهم جلال في رفع الوعي لدعم مركز سنسز في دبي من خلال سيره حاملاً معه الرسالة الإنسانية الثالثة له  عبر صحراء الربع الخالي وما بعده أيضاً.

كانت بداية المهمة في ٢٦ ديسمبر ٢٠٠٩ وقد تمت بتاريخ ٨ يناير ٢٠١٠ مكملاً مسافة ٥٥٠ كلم سيراً على الأقدام وذلك قبيل الوصول إلى الحدود الدولية مع المملكة العربية السعودية.

Emirati Campaginer Jalal Jamal Majid BinThaneya will leave Dubai City on the 26th of December 2009. The starting point will be at the Senses Center in Jumeirah

The Journey will highlight the subject of physiclly disabled people in the UAE and promote the Senses center which houses a significant population of students. DPworld have contributed to this project and have become the first sponser.

المسير من دبي إلى الربع الخالي

” المسير إلى الربع الخالي” بداية مشروع جديد يستهله جلال جمال ماجد بن ثنية والمحدد بتاريخ 26 ديسمبر 2009. وسعيًا لتحقيق هذا الحدث يجري جلال حاليًا بحثًا عن رعاة لدعم هذا المشروع.

سيقطع جلال بن ثنية مسافة 500 إلى 535 كيلو مترًا بدايةً من مدينة دبي ونهايةً بصحراء الربع الخالي. سيبدأ جلال رحلته من منزله الكائن بدبي وسيعود بعد إتمام المسافة كاملة والتي ستستغرق 20 يومً.

الهدف من هذا المشروع:

1. نشر الوعي لخدمة المعاقين في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة

2. التضامن مع فئة المعاقين في مجتمعنا.

3. جمع التبرعات لـ “Senses Centre” الواقع بجميرا، المركز مختص بتعليم فئة المعاقين بجميع الأعمار

4. الاستمرار في حملة التوعية لصالح إخواننا المعاقين

5. تعزيز الهوية الإماراتية والتواصل بين دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة والعالم

سيتم جمع التبرعات عن طريق المركز مباشرة ولن تقبل أية مبالغ مرسلة للقائمين بهذا العمل (جلال بن ثنية) أو أيً من فريق العمل. قريبًا سيتم الإعلان عن كيفية التبرع للمركز والمشاركة لإنجاح هذا المشروع.

A new project has been initiated by Jalal Jamal Majid BinThaneya. Currently he is in search of sponsers for the event set to take place on the 26th of December 2009.

This project will take place December 26th 2009 starting in Dubai City and ending in the empty quarter. The walk is 500 to 535km long. Jalal will leave his home and return only after he has finished walking the entire journey.

The Mission of this project :

1. To Raise awareness for the Physiclly challanged in the UAE.

2.To be in solidarity with the physiclly challanged.

3.To Raise funds if possible for the senses center a ”Integration Facility” Located in Jumeirah that provides education to pysiclly challanged students of all ages.*

4.To continue to campaign for the physiclly challanged.

5.To promote Emirati Identity and to supplement communication between the UAE and the people of the world.

*No funds are collected by Jalal Jamal Majid BinThaneya or any of his associates.All funds can be donated directly to the sense center in jumeirah. More information will be availible soon.

On the 30th of November i had won the fundraiser of the year award from inspire Dubai.The Award was for my previous projects ”TOWER100” and ”The Walk’‘ which involved walking around the UAE and climbing 100 towers to raise funds and awareness for special needs.
