On the 26^th of December 2009 Jalal BinThaneya executed a mission to walk to rub al khali widely known as the empty quarter. He Started his journey at the senses center located close to his home in Dubai Jumeirah. His route included Dubai to Abu Dhabi,Hamim,Liwa then through to Rub al Khali ending at Umm al Husn.

During the journey he faced difficulties such as limited resources, support and logistics.The Enviroment he travelled was desolate and baron with no services or access to sanitation or medical facilities.

Originally Jalal BinThaneya was to complete this mission in 20 days but succeded in 14 days entirely on foot. Jalal BinThaneya raised awareness for the senses center in Dubai during this mission and carried his 3rd messege of humanity across the empty quarter and beyond.

The Mission started on the 26th of December 2009 and ended on the 8th of January 2010, 550km later not far from the Saudi Arabian boarder.
